Ventures

The companies I build, and the teams I advise. Different markets, one way of working: solve a real problem, and build it to be relied on.

ScalaCode

Founded 2012. My primary company and the clearest proof of how I build. ScalaCode is an AI-first product engineering company for founders and CTOs who want a team that acts like their own, not a vendor they have to chase. We build AI systems, LLM and RAG applications, AI agents, and automation, along with the production-grade engineering around them, so the AI does not just demo well, it holds up in the real world. More than 1,300 clients, over 500 projects shipped, 250-plus engineers, and clients in 45-plus countries. Recognized as a TechBehemoths 2025 Award winner in Artificial Intelligence. The number I care about most: close to 90% of clients come back for their next project.

Caredara

Founded 2025. My newest venture, where I am co-founder and CTO. Caredara builds technology for continuous, connected care beyond the traditional clinic. I lead product and engineering end to end, turning real healthcare gaps into secure, scalable, AI-driven systems that improve care coordination, patient engagement, and operational efficiency for providers. We are early in the journey, focused on getting the problem and solution fit right, and building a platform healthcare stakeholders can rely on, not just experiment with.

iWebServices

Founded 2011, my first company. The same philosophy pointed at small business. iWebServices helps mom-and-pop shops and local retailers get online and win customers. Not just a website that goes live and goes quiet, but the digital presence and the follow-through that actually brings people through the door.

Advisory

I also advise founders building in areas I know well. At TalentMatched.com, an AI-powered recruitment platform led by Tom Wood, I am a strategic advisor on using AI-driven automation to improve talent sourcing, candidate screening, and hiring efficiency.

Selected work I've led

Beyond the companies I own, these are efforts I personally led, for clients or in earlier roles. Where a client prefers to stay unnamed, I have kept it private.

TransferLogix

Earlier in my career I led the development of TransferLogix, a learning-transfer platform, from architecture through delivery as its technical lead. It was later acquired by Dale Carnegie Training.

AI virtual try-on, for a US fashion retailer

The seed was mine. Back in 2018 I tried an early virtual try-on and saw where it could go. Years later I led the product vision for a US retailer's AI try-on platform through its first phase, turning that early idea into a working product people could actually use.

Career and job-search platform, for a US client

I was the primary solution architect for a US career and job-search platform, designing the technical approach that turned a broad idea into a system that could be built, shipped, and scaled.

AmeriSave, dedicated engineering team

I set up and led the dedicated engineering team behind AmeriSave's mortgage and credit card application systems, standing up a 22-person team in three months and getting them productive on a regulated financial product where accuracy and reliability are not optional.

What's next

I build more than one thing, and I am not done. If you are working on something in this space, or want to build together, get in touch.
